Trelleborg is the southernmost town in Sweden, and is historically said to have been a wedding gift from the Danish Royal family to a Swedish Prince in 1257. In medieval times it was predominantly a herring fishing port and quickly became a merchant city, today Trelleborg is an industrial town with industry focused around the Seaport. Trelleborg welcomes over a million passengers through its port annually, and the terminals are well equipped to cope with this. There are direct rail and road routes from Malmo into Trelleborg.

Travemunde is located at the mouth of the River Trave in the borough of Lubeck in Germany. The pretty seaside resort is Germanys largest ferry port on the Baltic Sea with oldest Lighthouse on the Baltic coast. The ferry port is located in the south of the town with easy access directly from the Autobahn.
